Royal Navy Doctor / Red Bull, Jobs in Adventure Series

[:en]Imagine a job where you got paid to go on adventures. This June for Red Bull I interviewed Surgeon Lieutenant Josh Bakker-Dyos, a doctor in the Royal Navy.

We spoke via satellite phone whilst on the job at 8167m Dhaulagiri basecamp, in the Nepalese Himalayas.  You can now read about Surgeon Lieutenant Josh Bakker-Dyos’s latest travels, and what it takes to start out on his career at Red Bull Adventure. Photography by ©Sandro Gromen-Hayes.

Ride the Divide – Cover Feature, Get Out There magazine

[:en]Did you know there are 429km of backcountry MTB magic to be ridden in Canada? The lion’s share of the Great Divide MTB route is in the USA, but everyone who’s ridden it knows the best bit is really in Canada!

This Spring and Summer if you are at a race anywhere in the East of Canada, it’s likely you will receive a copy of Get Out There magazine. You can read about riding through the only uninhabited valley in Southern Canada, see my shots of when it gets snowy and get a feel for riding the sanctuary for misbehaving bears! Alternatively you can read online right now…here’s a link straight to the article. Happy trip planning!
