Adventure stories from summits, ultra races and rides through the Andes, Patagonia and beyond
I grew up in the flat, fruit-growing country of Kent but began to put that right when I left home and moved to become a rock climber (and a student) in York. Since then I have climbed and biked over multiple continents and am a competitive ultra runner. In 2011 I began a bicycle trip from the southern most tip of the Amercias, heading north through the Americas towards Alaska. Somewhere along that journey I got waylaid and today make my home with my Chilean family in the Andean foothills above Santiago.
I hold the British Mountain Leader award and have two decades of experience writing, photographing, planning and organising expeditions from the Alps to the Andes. I have competencies in organising multi-week, remote and difficult to access mountain environments with film teams and journalists throughout the Andes and Patagonia.
