Walking with Wolves / BBC

Rumours reached me in September 2017 of a plan to “rewild” Britain with wolves.  Keen to learn more, I followed the scent of these apex predators into the dense forests of Västmanland, Sweden. Over the next six days I met game wardens, scientists and wildlife guides as I set about examining the possibility of reintroducing wolves to the UK.

BBC Countryfile magazine picked up the story and published the feature in their January 2018 issue.

In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the Rapa Nui people believed for 500 years they were the only people left on Earth.

The BBC were interested in how the Rapa Nui’s February festival of Tapati expresses the character and story of these remote island people. I spent three weeks on Easter island. This article for BBC Travel explores what I found.
